Internet:
The internet is a vast network that
connect computer all over the world. Through the internet, people can share
information and communicate from anywhere with an internet connection.
Network: A network consists of two or more computers
that are linked in order to share resources (such as printers and CDs),
exchange files, or allow electronic communications. The computers on a network
may be linked through cables, telephone lines, radio waves, satellites, or
infrared light beams.

WWW (Word Wide Web): The World
Wide Web or "the Web" is a huge network of computers. The Web enables
users to view specially formatted document called web page, which contains
text, graphics, sounds, multimedia or animation. Web page is designed using a
language called Hyper Text Markup Language or HTML.

Server: Servers are
large data storage and processing devices that exist either as hardware or as
virtual storehouses located on the internet. Computers or software systems act
as servers that connect to a network.
A server
can be any type of device that shares and saves information. Servers can both
store and process information within their own system or request it from
another. There are 12 servers: Web server, Proxy server, Virtual machine
(VM), File transfer protocol (FTP) server, Application server, File server,
Database server, Mail server, Print server, Domain name system (DNS) server,
Collaboration server, Gaming server, and Monitoring and management server.

Web Server: A web
server is a computer, which gives services to other computers connected to the
web or World Wide Web. All Web Pages are Stored in the Web Server. The Web
browser request to the Web server for the information .When the Web Server
receives the request; it searches the information within its file system and
sends out the request information to the browser through the internet. So, a
Web Server is responsible for sending web Pages to a Browser for a Clint. There are five types of Web Server : Apache, Nginx,
Microsoft IIS, Lighttpd, Jigsaw

Web Brower: A Web
browser is an application program that is stored in User's computer. It is used
to view the information of documents or Web Pages from around the Word. The Web
browser request to the Server to find the web documents and Open the documents
on user's Computer. The Point–and-Point browser provides a graphical user
interface that allows clicking graphical objects and hyperlinks. The most
popular graphic Web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape
Navigator, etc.

Web Page: A Web page is a document formatted with a
special language called HTML or Markup Language. A Web Page may consist of a
text, graphics, sounds, animated pictures, and hyperlink etc. The information
of the web page may be displayed on the user's computer using the browser.

Web Site: A
collection of related web pages which is hosted in web server. Web sited are
stored on the special computer called web server. The web Server stores
thousand of web sites. Web Sites are used to provide news, educational
services, product information, database for any product, banking services etc.

Home page: Page of
web is generally divided into two sections: the home page and the link. A home
page is the main page of the web sites. It displays the introductory parts of
the web site including different pictures. It contains different related links
for the link pages. Link pages are designed to provide information for the web
site. A home page gives general idea about web site.

Hyper text Transfer Protocol (HTTP): HTTP is
used to make communication between the clients' browser and the web browser.
When HTTP receives request from a Brower, the web server will try to find the
web page requested. If the web page is found, the server sends the requested
web page to the respective client. If the requested web page is not found then
the error message sends are as its response to the client's browser.

Uniform Resource Locator (URL): A URL is
the address of Specific web sites or file on the internet.

Internet Protocol: IP stands for Internet Protocol and refers to
a numerical label assigned to every device connected to a computer network. IP
addresses are used to identify the host or network interface and provide its
location in the network, allowing devices to communicate with each other over
the internet.

Internet Service Provider (ISP): ISP stands for Internet Service
Provider. An ISP is a company that provides internet access to customers or
users. ISPs offer various types of internet connections such as broadband, DSL,
fiber-optic, and satellite. They also provide additional services like email,
web hosting, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
